My connection to the Hotmail server was open last night during an electrical storm, and I suspect that Hotmail, while automatically and periodically verifying my credentials (or something like that), had a data stream that got corrupted, and the corruption was written back to my account on the Hotmail server. I remoted into another computer in another state and tred from there (totally different DNS and IP address - not a cache problem) and get the exact same error. Notes: Check the Keep me signed in box if you want to go straight to next time (not recommended for shared computers). On the next page, enter your password and select Sign in.
